One of the beautiful realities of walking with God is that He promises to give us wisdom not only through His written Word but also through the direct revelation and guidance of His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our personal Teacher, Counselor, and Comforter, and He delights in imparting supernatural insights, intuition, and discernment to God’s children.
He is able to reveal things to us that go beyond our natural understanding, giving us glimpses into the heart and purposes of God.
To cultivate sensitivity to the Spirit’s impartations of wisdom, insights, and intuition, we must learn to quiet our own thoughts and agendas and create space for His still, small voice. This often involves setting aside regular time for silence, solitude, and contemplative prayer.
