So how do you cultivate a posture of awe in prayer?

• Start by meditating on the attributes of God that fill you with wonder.

• Ponder His power, creativity, wisdom, and love.

• Marvel at the intricate beauty of His creation, from the delicate petals of a flower to the vast expanse of the galaxies.

• Reflect on the miracle of His intimate knowledge of you —the fact that the God who holds the universe in His hands also holds you close to His heart.

• Stand in amazement at the depths of His mercy and grace, poured out for you on the cross.
