Patience Is Part Of The Process
Waiting is no fun, but it's often part of God's process to bless us. As believers, we pray, expecting God to answer quickly. When He doesn't, we get impatient. Why doesn't God hurry up?
Here's the deal: Patience develops our character. God uses waiting to shape our hearts and deepen our trust in Him.
Rushing the process can lead to big mistakes, like when Abraham had Ishmael. Ouch! God had a better plan that required patience.
Waiting on God isnโt easy, but itโs always worth it. The heroes of faith had to wait through long seasons they didnโt understand:
Noah waited over a century before the flood came.
Abraham and Sarah waited decades for their promised child.
Joseph waited over ten years to see his dreams fulfilled.
Though confusing, their waiting built character and deepened their trust in God, who never wastes an experience.
Waiting on God requires faith and hope despite its unclear timing. The temptation is to complain and doubt. Iโve done that! Those Hallway of Waiting blues!
But we canโt lean on our limited understanding (Proverbs 3:5). God sees the full picture. We must quietly hope and believe Him (Hebrews 6:12), even when we donโt see results.
Waiting develops godly virtues like patience, perseverance, and trust. Thatโs why James says:
โLet patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.โ (James 1:4)
Stay faithful, friend. Your day is coming! Keep believing Him who said:
โThose who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.โ (Isaiah 40:31)
God always completes the good work He began in us (Philippians 1:6). Patience is part of the process. Keep believing and patiently waiting for His perfect timing.
Be patient, since your breakthrough is worth the wait!

Check out my book on patience:
In this book, Patience, we study the topic of patience from a Christian perspective. The word "patience" comes from a Latin root that means "to suffer." It doesn't sound too exciting, but God often allows His children to endure seasons in which they must wait patiently for His intervention or endure some tribulation without complaint.
Life is hard, but with the Lord's help and a proper understanding of patience, we can all obtain God's promised blessings in due season! I am optimistic that if you commit to the journey of becoming a Daily Christian, it will transform your life from the inside out! See you inside the book!
