Greetings From Antananarivo, Madagascar
News and Photos
After spending about two days traveling to Madagascar, I can report that this is indeed a very unique and beautiful place with some of the kindest people you can meet.
I have ministered with my brother, Dr. Johann Schonken, in several locations and to diverse groups. From an early morning service in the middle of the 14 million inhabitants capital, to orphans and street children on the outskirts of the city.
Of special note was an opportunity to minister to special needs children and the amazing team that train and attend to them even further from the city center. We have already spent hours driving on some of the roughest roads I have experienced in the many years of travel I have done to date. Not fun, but fulfilling, none the less.
We are ministering this weekend at several churches and are expecting the Lord to show up powerfully to inspire, save and heal.
Please continue to pray for us. We desperately need your prayers and support as you share this update with others.
I include some street scene video and photos to give you a sense of the unique world Madagascar is.

Until next time, blessings and a big thank you!
Iann Schonken
