“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” —James 2:17 (NIV)
Note: In this series of newsletters, we’re going to explore five key aspects of building a life of unshakable faith using the acronym F.A.I.T.H. Get ready to be inspired, challenged, and equipped to trust God like never before!
Faith isn’t just about what you believe in your head. It’s about what you do with your hands and feet. The [A] of F.A.I.T.H. stands for Action!
The Bible makes it clear that true faith always leads to action. It’s not enough to just say you believe in Jesus; you’ve got to live like it. That means being willing to step out of your comfort zone, take risks, and put your faith on the line for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
So what does putting your faith into action look like? It starts with being attentive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. As you spend time in prayer and in God’s Word, He’ll give you nudges and whispers about how He wants to use you to make a difference in the world around you.
Reflection Question
In what ways is God calling you to put your faith into action right now? What bold steps of obedience do you need to take, even if they feel risky or uncomfortable?
